The Käsekrainer is a coarse pork sausage stuffed with pieces of Emmental or similar cheese. When grilled, the cheese melts inside, creating pockets of hot, gooey cheese that can burst through the casing. No Viennese Würstelstand (sausage stand) is complete without it.
